Mount Snow is set in the heart the Mount Snow Valley, by far of one of the most beautiful areas in Vermont.

The Valley offers indulgences from quiet evenings by the fire, dining for the discriminating palate, romantic sleigh rides, exhilarating snow shoe trails, intriguing antique shops and a whirlwind of children's activities. And it’s all so close. Combine Mount Snow and the Mount Snow Valley for the ultimate vacation the whole family will love!

Most businesses in the Valley are family owned and operated, which is evident through the friendly and down-home atmosphere. You will not find chain fast food outlets or mini-malls in the Mount Snow Valley! Driving to Mount Snow up Route 100, the rolling hills of the Valley -- adorned with working farms, maple sugar houses, artisan shops and white steepled churches -- simply define quintessential Vermont.

One of the best advantages this Valley has to offer is the MOOver Transportation System, a free public transportation system that services the Route 100 and Route 9 corridors. In fact, it is the third largest public transportation system in Vermont. The design of the MOOver is like no other transportation system - all the buses in the fleet are painted like Holstein cows! Look for the MOOver bus stop signs on Route 100, Route 9 and at Mount Snow.
